Catuai is an arabica type of coffee, that has nice sweetness and acidity. This particular micro-lot has amazing complexity due to the high altitude and volcanic soil where it is grown. This coffee comes from the Mount Santa Barbara region, where Cup of Excellence coffees are abundant.
This coffee is normally only found in Japan, but Triple Coffee's close relationship with producers has brought this coffee to the U.S. Be prepared for amazing acidity, florality, and prolonged sparkle. Although this coffee is grown in Central America, the flavors lean toward African coffees. It's nothing short of amazing.
